UCSD Solar Campus Car Port

This very complex project involved 10 independent sites and interconnections while be managed on an active campus of more than 35,000 students and faculty. The system was financed by a power purchase agreement from Solar Power Partners. The project included the installation of Envision solar trees, UNIRAC racking systems, Kyocera modules, and a combination of SMA and Xantrex inverters to produce more than 29M kWhrs annually.

Have you seen any solar projects on Univeristy campuses?
